ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Strategy Development: Design and implement region‑level sales strategies to achieve business goals, ensuring alignment with broader organizational priorities and market potential.

Sales Performance Monitoring: Review business performance across the geography at regular intervals, track sales KPIs, analyze trends, identify gaps, and execute corrective actions to ensure consistent target achievement.

Partner Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, distributors, institutional accounts, and business contributors to maximize regional opportunities and drive collaborative growth.

Business Development: Identify new markets, emerging customer needs, geographical expansion opportunities, and new business sources to strengthen the region’s footprint and revenue base.

Engagement: Lead structured engagement programs including business meets, capability forums, leadership forums, recognition platforms, and partner activations to maximize field productivity and motivation.

Training & Capability Building: Enable the field force with training on product knowledge, digital sales processes, underwriting norms, sales effectiveness, and relationship management to uplift capability across the broader territory.

Market Analysis: Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer needs to identify market opportunities and adapt plans proactively.

LOB Management: Grow all lines of business while ensuring portfolio profitability, business hygiene, and adherence to underwriting norms.

Operational Excellence: Oversee smooth execution of policy issuance, documentation accuracy, digital process adoption, and service delivery by collaborating with operations, underwriting, and claims teams as needed.

Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to organizational policies, IRDAI guidelines, audit norms, and governance standards across all business activities and sales practices.
